Installation is inclusive if you fulfill these 3 criteria
1) Concrete Ceiling
2) Connection to existing lighting point
3) Ceiling height below 3m or less.
For non-concrete ceiling, for example - False Ceiling, Awning Mounting, Side Wall Installation, etc - it is still possible to install. These comes with additional charges depending on the services.
Existing lighting point usually comes in
1) the form of loose end wire that is dangling from the ceiling, or from the side wall
2) Existing light source, hence, we will replace the existing light with the system
In case of no existing lighting point, we can install a plug and trunk it to your closest socket, or we can create a new switch for you. These comes with additional charges depending on the services.
For ceiling height above 3m, you can opt to lower the system using a threaded rod or a bracket. These comes with additional charges depending on the services.
Our warranty covers for
1) 2 Years Parts
2) 2 Years Reel Motor
(Unless stated otherwise)
'Parts' covers for all factory defects within 2 years. 'Reel Motor' covers for the Reeling Wire (the stainless steel wire that reels it up and down) and the Reeling Motor ( the motor that lifts your rack up and down) for all factory defects within 2 years. Labour & Transport costs will incur.
User Generated Fault or Damages won't be covered by any of the warranty above.
Do contact us with pictures and videos of the fault/damage for us to assess. If there's a need to repair or rectify, we will be sending our technical team on-site to repair/assess the damage.
Mensch is a local Singapore brand. Our product are designed and assembled by us here in Singapore.
The system uses predominantly aluminium for the main body, poles and bars. There are some plastic parts for accessories.
Do check on the availability of stocks. But when stocks are available, preferred installation date will usually take within 2-3 weeks to arrange. However, if you're looking to urgently install your system, you can contact us to check on our earliest available dates.
For lighting point, we require a minimium of 6A MCB. Heater model running ampere is around 4.5A.
Power (Watts) is 1200watts. Kindly ensure that your electrical switches and MCB fufill the power requirments. For non heater model, the power consumption is less than 150 watts and running ampere is less than 2A, hence generally not an issue.
There are many smarts switches brands in the market, but do note that smart switches operate differently from conventional manual switch. Example a 3 Gang 8A smart switches will have its power and running rating equally divided into each of the 3 switches, hence leaving it only less than 3A (8A/3) to power up the rack. In such instances, the power requirement will not be sufficients and the switches and the internal components will be prone to damage when there is a backflow of current to the PCB components of the rack. Please check on the specifications before installing smart switches.
